The goal of this CBN Graduates & Undergraduates Grant initiative, according to CBN, is to “bring about a paradigm change in an entrepreneurial culture from a “white-collar” job search culture to economic growth and employment creation among undergraduates and graduates.”
The CBN would distribute N500 million among the top five third-best delivery companies for the grant. The top five polytechnics and colleges in Nigeria with the best entrepreneurial trends and ideas will receive the following prizes, according to the CBN: N150 million for first place, N120 million for second place, N80 million for third place, N80 million for fourth place, and N80 million for fifth place. “N50m” is the location.
To evaluate the technological and entrepreneurial innovations provided by Nigerian universities and polytechnics over two years, Apex Bank has announced the creation of a private and public sector expert organization (BoE).
Independent observers will oversee the sponsored projects under the scheme appointed equally by the CBN and MFIs.
